Ideas can be visualized in a number of ways: 3D animations and motion graphics, graphs and infographics, and all forms of writing. There is great skill in each of these approaches but there is even greater skill in understanding which approach to take.
Picture This starts with a conversation about your project and goals, explores the best way to visualize your ideas, and is followed by drafts and iterations before achieving the final work.
Pictured below is a technical drawing that was created to help technicians understand a motor part that they were not grasping from the oversimplified schematic that was originally provided. Just as there are translations between languages, this was a visual translation from a more technical drawing. The "exploded" view is a suspension of time and place that allows the viewer to simultaneously assemble and take apart a throttle valve that is typically buried in the engine. When this was shown to technicians they said they did not have to actually have to take the throttle valve apart because they understood how it functioned from the drawing.
